The monks, committee and Buddhist followers at the Mondul Ottawa Khmer Buddhist Monastery, Bodhikaram Temple, Ottawa, Canada, on Saturday Morning November 27, 2010, has observed the memorial service for transferring merits to Cambodian People who lost their lives in the horrible tragedy at Koh Pich, Pnhom Penh, Cambodia on November 22, 2010.

The same as people in Cambodia and Cambodian people around the world, we are deeply sad to know that many hundred people were tramped to death, others were drowned in the river and more injured, when they were tramped and jumped from the bridge in Cambodian festival stampede. Our sincere condolence to the families of the victims of Koh Pich tragedy.

We got the donation in total amount of $1200 (One thousand and two hundred Canadian dollars) from people who attainded this observance and the generous people who didn't get the chance to join this event. We will send this amount to help the families of the victims when we can find the right place to send in order to reach those victims' families. Thanks all donors who are sharing love and care and do the donation to those victims who need helps. May your lives be filled with love, peace, happiness and prosperity!

For the merit we have done, we transfer it to those who passed away on the tragic day and wish for them to be born in happy realm. May they stay happily in the heaven and peaceful existence! May those people who injured be recovered soon with being healthy, strong and prosperious! May all beings be well and happy!
