Fundraising Festivity “Bonn Phkapraksamakky” is an important ceremony in the Buddhist Religion to raise fund for the development of the temple. Monks and Board of Directors of the Mondul Ottawa Khmer Buddhist Monastery, Watt Bodhikaram, would like to invite you, your family and friends to join us for this important fundraising ceremony on the date and location below. This also allow you to meet with other Buddhist followers in Ottawa-Hull and from other places such as from Montreal, Toronto, Hamilton, London and Winsor.

@Bodhikaram Temple, start from 7:00 pm; Arrival of the guests, paying respect to the Triple Gem, taking five precepts and the monks chant the Paritta.
-Saturday Morning May 30, 2009
@ Tom Brown Arena, 141 Bayview, Ottawa, ON.
9:00 am - Arrival of the guests
9:30 am – Paying respect to the Triple Gem and taking the Five Precepts.
10:00 am – Putting alms in to alms-bowls, Food offerings to the Buddhist Monks.
11:30 am – Blessing given by the Monks, Lunch of Monks, Dhamma Lecture by a Monks.
12:00 – Communal Lnch.
